Fly Fishing – Río Maullín & Lagos

1 day (full day)
All levels
1–4 people

Overview

The Lakes Region of southern Chile is one of the last great wild trout destinations on earth. Río Maullín, born from the crystal-clear waters of Lago Llanquihue at the foot of Volcán Osorno, is a world-class spring creek teeming with large rainbow and brown trout year-round. Your Vertic guide will take you to stretches of river that see fewer than a handful of anglers per season. Wade quietly through native forest, read the water, and present your fly to rising fish. Whether you've never held a fly rod or you're a seasoned angler chasing trophy fish, this is a day that connects you with Chilean Patagonia at its most intimate.
