Overview
Escape the crowds and lift lines. Chile offers endless backcountry terrain for ski touring (randonée) and splitboarding. From the Araucaria forests of the south to the high alpine of the central Andes.
Based in Malalcahuello, you'll have access to Lonquimay and Villarrica volcanoes and surrounding valleys. Skin up through ancient forests, reach a summit or a ridge, and enjoy a long descent in untouched snow.

DayDay 1: Arrival in Malalcahuello
Transfer to the lodge. Gear check and safety briefing.

DayDay 2: Lonquimay Volcano
Ascent of Lonquimay. Open slopes and great views of the crater.

DayDay 3: Villarrica Volcano
Touring on Villarrica. Open slopes and views of the active crater.

DayDay 4: Tolhuaca or Llaima
Objective depends on weather/snow. Both offer long, classic descents.
