Overview

Escape the crowds and lift lines. Chile offers endless backcountry terrain for ski touring (randonée) and splitboarding. From the Araucaria forests of the south to the high alpine of the central Andes. Based in Malalcahuello or Chillán, you'll have access to multiple volcanoes and valleys. Skin up through ancient forests, reach a summit or a ridge, and enjoy a long descent in untouched snow. Our UIAGM/IFMGA certified guides ensure safety and find the best snow quality for each day.

Itinerary

Arrival in Malalcahuello

Transfer to the lodge. Gear check and safety briefing.

Lonquimay Volcano

Ascent of Lonquimay. Open slopes and great views of the crater.

Sierra Nevada

Touring in Conguillío National Park. Skiing among ancient Araucaria trees.

Tolhuaca or Llaima

Objective depends on weather/snow. Both offer long, classic descents.
