Volcano Hiking – Pucón

Overview

Challenge yourself with an ascent of one of Chile's most active volcanoes. The climb to the summit of Villarrica (2,847m) is a must-do adventure in Pucón, rewarding you with a look into the smoking crater and panoramic views of lakes and other volcanoes. For those seeking solitude, we offer ascents of Quetrupillán or the snowy slopes of Lonquimay. These climbs are non-technical but physically demanding, requiring crampons and ice axes which we provide. In winter and spring, these volcanoes offer incredible ski-touring descents.
